What has working in mental health care meant to you?
Michelle Ponce: Working in mental health now more than ever is so encouraging. We're constantly finding new ways to meet people where they are - in the community, in schools, even down at the local VFW. We're also seeing increased awareness, not only of the importance of mental health, but such strong across-the-board support for ensuring that all people have access to the services and supports they need to lead healthy and fulfilling lives. We're not just making human connections, we're saving lives.
