What has working in mental health care meant to you?
Patrick Kennedy: Hello, my name is Patrick Kennedy. I'm a former U.S. congressman and author of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act. I'm also the founder of DontDenyMe.org, an effort to make sure that mental illness and addiction is treated no differently than any other physical illness. I ask that all of you continue to fight against those that would discriminate against people with mental illness and addiction, not only this month of May, but in all months of the year.
