Tell us about yourself (where you are from, interests, and hobbies).
Dipto: Hello everyone. This is Dipto, Dipta Jyoti Maitra is my full name. I belong to the eastern part of India. That is West Bengal. And from there I worked in almost all the major cities across India in different states. Finally, settled down in Pune. That's about 12 years back. I have my wife and a nine-year-old kid at my home. So so that's a small place where we are nest our dreams. What are my hobbies and interests? So some of my hobbies are - one is definitely I love doing gardening. So I have a small patch of greens in a small balcony where I take care of my plants, particularly the foliage plants - that I love and growing them for several years. The next part is what interests me is my love for black tea. I collect different darjeeling black tea, particularly the harvest is called first flush which is collected in the springtime every year in the month of March. For two to three weeks this is collected and then it's over. So in my collection, like a good single malt, I have a wide variety of this first flush collected over years. And I enjoy them as my afternoon tea. So to serve that, I also have a huge collection of teapots and teacups. Finer tea calls for good crockery as well. So I have a good collection for that as well. And finally, cooking is my passion. I'm a home chef and we do try a lot of cuisine from across the globe at our home. At our dinner table you can see the southeast Asian, the Indian, the French cuisine, the European Sri Lankan... so everything altogether. We spend a lot of time collecting different ingredients, fine tuning them, cooking them. So that is one of my favorite pastimes and interests. So you all are welcome to my home, and probably I'll be serving you some of the good food for you.
Tell us about your role and your team at Innovapptive.
Dipto: At Innovapptive my role is Senior OCM Consultant, and where we belong to - we belong to the customer success organization. What we do is - we help our customers with user adoption. So, typically we get engaged with any of our customers opportunity almost after the project kickoff. And from there we understand the customer's different stakeholders typically the user groups, so the end-users and super users. And we then try to do the strategy part - how the customers can achieve the best adoption for their end-users with our product. So for that, we provide the strategy. It's more of a consulting role rather than getting into customers' business environment. So we guide them throughout the journey. And post-go-live at a certain point, we hand it over to the customer success manager. So from there, they take it forward with the adoption journey. And then that is where our role ends. So that is what we do. We help customers in user adoption.
What are some things you have enjoyed about working at Innovapptive?
Dipto: What I like most about working with Innovapptive what a fantastic team we have. In one hand, we have a great leadership team, who takes it from the front. And to support that, we have some very highly talented co-workers. So to get this, it's it's a fantastic combination. So, you, you have the people to support and you have the leaders to drive. It's just amazing. The other part I would like to mention here, here we are encouraged to try out new things. When I say trying out new things, that is always associated with some amount of business risk. And a great part is leadership is always ready to take that risk and encourages us in spite of being the chances of getting the failure. But even then, when we get success, that takes care of all the failure probably we had before. And that is something I would say it's for you. You don't get it in many organizations, but here in Innovapptive, yes, the leadership is absolutely supportive of trying out new things and new ways. That's just amazing.
What is your mission at Innovapptive and how does it contribute to Innovapptive’s overall mission to connect workers?
Dipto: Innovapptive's mission is to connect workers and my mission is to connect Innovapptive's range of products to these workers. So I would say that is where I fit into the jigsaw puzzle. End-user adoption... unless the fieldworkers, the technicians, the mechanics... they feel comfortable and they use our products... there's no meaning of having this product in the first place. So that is what my mission is to try to get this, user adoption done at the best making things easier for these set of workers. They are not the IT professionals, so they work off in the workshops, they work in the field, they work with their toolsets, probably welders or fitters. So that is the kind of end-users that I need to consider. So for bridging the gap between our product and this set of workers. Because you need to understand at the back end of our product, that is, what is running is SAP and probably SAP is a too complicated thing for a welder, or a fitter, or a mechanic or electrician to understand what it is all about. So to make that understanding easier - how they can use this particular device with just a few clicks. They can also comply with the business processes of their organizations. That is where I try to make the things much easier by means of coaching the super-users, by means of making communications, the training program, the training plans. So this is my mission to get the highest number of adoption of our end-users.
What makes Innovapptive exciting over the next 5 years?
Dipto: What makes things the most exciting for the next five years for me in Innovapptive... it's the growth. So for both, both in terms of the fast pace, the fantastic speed we are growing and in the volume in the dimension. So together it's a phenomenal journey we are into right at this moment and that's super exciting because you know, when you grow in such a fast pace, you face a whole lot of challenges. So the challenges are thrown on you from every direction. So be it you have a lot of things coming on your plate because you do not have enough manpower at that point of time or maybe with this faster pace of changing the organization of the ways of doing things that is changing. So what I mean is it's just not only the growth of the organization but it is also the growth of individuals. So from what you were doing today from there, you have to take a very different role probably altogether in the coming days because of this phenomenal growth, we are going through. That particular experience is just fantastic. And that is what I see in the next five years we will definitely, be growing into multiple X. I just can't imagine how, How many is it? A 10X, is it 100X? Yes, we are passing through a phenomenal growth phase and that's just the most exciting of being in this organization.
