Mason Jones: Hello, my name is Mason Jones. I'm a manufacturing digital manager for Chevron Phillips Chemical Company. My team and organization is responsible for implementing manufacturing digital applications including our operator round solution.
Describe the current situation for your frontline workers, the legacy processes, and the challenges.
Mason Jones: Currently at Chevron Phillips, our operators are leveraging a digital solution for collecting operator rounds. However, it's very difficult to analyze this data and for this data to make it to other teams in order to make informed decisions. So right now, our data is currently siloed. And what we're looking for is how do we take this opportunity to connect our operations workforce with our reliability teams.
Why did your organization prioritize connecting your frontline workers with a mobile approach?
Mason Jones: At Chevron Phillips, our operator rounds are focused on compliance, competence, and reliability. In order to be able to make real-time data decisions where equipment is and where our local instrument gauges are in the field, operators needed access to a mobile device that worked both online as well as offline. In addition to this, our operators have to make key decisions so they need access to historical information associated with these round tour stops.

Mason Jones: Our goal of using the Innovapptive mRounds solution is to take our operator rounds and integrate this with our shift turnover process, as well as feed key information over to our reliability teams to make more informed decisions for predictive analytics. We'll then take the outputs of that reliability decision and update our priority and frequency for future operator rounds.

Mason Jones: With the Innovapptive solution, we're moving from just preventative maintenance and time-based rounds to dynamic-based rounds focused on predictive analytics and predictive maintenance.
