Speaker: Prashanthi Malireddy, Sr Program Release Manager Innovapptive
Tell us about yourself (where you are from, interests, and hobbies).
Prashanthi Malireddy: Hi, I'm Prashanthi Malireddy I'm from Hyderabad India. I was born and raised here and I have spent 3/4 of my life here in Hyderabad. I consider myself a pakka hyderabadi Hyderabad dum biryanis and Urdu mixed with Hindi, which is an endearing language. And I live here with my husband and two kids and a whole lot of extended family within a 30-minute driving range. Our elder son Arvind is at the medical school right now and my daughter is in the middle school. Both of them play basketball. My son plays for his college team right now and my daughter is trying to get into her school team. As for my interests and hobbies... I do a bit of yoga, knitting, crochet, doodling, just about anything here and there. And we enjoy cooking as a family over the weekends, but any day organizing closets and walks our my stress busters.
Tell us about your role and your team at Innovapptive.
Prashanthi Malireddy: I'm a program release manager here at Innovapptive and I joined eight months ago. I set up the processes for all our releases across the products and innovation team. Our product and engineering teams put in a lot of thought into what features to prioritize, how to implement them, how and when to deliver them. And the processes and checklists will make sure that we are putting this all together in a seamless fashion.
What are some things you have enjoyed about working at Innovapptive?
Prashanthi Malireddy: What I enjoy about working at Innovapptive As part of my job, I get to interact with various teams, product management teams, engineering, architecture, Jira admin, business operations, and all that. And you get to hear different perspectives and how it all comes together to make our product. And with all the people coming back to work right now we also play this mapping game where we map the voice to the photo to the person and that is fun. And I also like the fact that we are very much a data and metrics driven company. Data drives our decisions and it helps us stay objective.
What is your mission at Innovapptive and how does it contribute to Innovapptive’s overall mission to connect workers?
Prashanthi Malireddy: My mission here, at Innovapptive, is to bring predictability and stability around our release cycles. This will give us an insight into how we align our features delivery across the products to make a bigger impact to our frontline workers and back office.
What makes Innovapptive exciting over the next 5 years?
Prashanthi Malireddy: Innovapptive over the next five years, we have a niche solution already in the market, and we are committed to delivering high quality solutions that will help our frontline workers and back office and connecting them together. And with that, innovative Innovapptive teams working on this, the possibilities are limitless.
