Speaker: Sukriti Patny

When did you start learning yoga with In.Breath? How has your experience been?

Sukriti Patny: I started working with In.Breath in September of last year and my experience has just been amazing, over the course of working with Apoorva and Gayatri, I've been able to understand my own mind, better understand its fears, and, deal with them. I'm able to have a relationship with my breath and see the kind of difference it makes not only during my practice but in my day to day life. And I find that I am so much more calm and settled on most days as a result of that.

Any specific shifts or changes that you have experienced with In.Breath?

Sukriti Patny: I think the biggest change that I have noticed in these months has been that my anxiety and stress used to present themselves as overthinking. I would constantly find myself worrying about the problems that I had to deal with and the questions that I couldn't answer. And as a result of the practice, I have come to realize that these questions will be there, but I can still be comfortable in their presence and I can stay with them even if they remain unanswered and unsolved. And as a result of that, I find that my mind is quieter. If it doesn't find an answer, it doesn't go on looking in that moment. It knows that it can take a pause and come back tomorrow or day after or at whatever point in the future. And so I've seen, I've seen my anxiety and stress go down.

Why would you recommend In.Breath to others?

Sukriti Patny: I would recommend In.Breath because I find that in their teachings and their guidance, there's so much gentleness that comes through, they teach us about ahimsa and while that is ahimsa towards the body and towards your mind, it's also about being kind to yourselves and kind to everyone else which, which we could all do with. I also feel like in this world where we're constantly juggling between a 100 things and always addicted to our devices. I find that there's so much thehraav in their sessions. So it, it is a space that I go to for a lot of comfort and a lot of peace.
