Can you tell us your story and why you chose IAS?
Dandan - Further Leave to Remain: I gave birth in May 2023, but my child was pre and had several severe medical complications. Because my husband is a British national, so his family found a charity named Eli Wing to transfer our daughter back to the UK for an emergency brain operation. But this left me without much time to apply for my visa. Um, so I would suggest um to instead get a tourist visa then apply once in England. So, um, but once we were all in the UK. There were certain visa requirements we did not meet, so we had to find a lawyer. For my family visa. Um, this is where IAS comes in, I mean comes in, not only did they uh take our case with the government funding, we'd been granted, but also they were willing to listen to our story, which can't be said for many of the law companies we contacted and They were professional, kind and friendly.
Can you highlight a hurdle in your immigration journey and how IAS helped?
Dandan - Further Leave to Remain: Our biggest problem we faced was the fact my husband and I had just moved back to UK and did not meet the government requirements for the family visa. After knowing our story, IAS was more than willing to not only take this case and talked us through every single step. They also would regularly um check in with us and give us advice on the steps. And the types of documents we would. Need for the next step. So this would give us time to prepare.

Dandan - Further Leave to Remain: Yes, uh, sure, 100%, yes, um. IAS went above and beyond. They were friendly, chatty, and they really cared. You're not just another number to them. Yeah, I would definitely on to someone else. Who need it
