Why are Illinois Section AWWA members the best?
Kali Spain: Illinois section AWWA members are the best for so many reasons. Not only are they passionate and dedicated to the work they do and provide for their communities, they are so excited to talk about their work.
Nancy Sullivan: Because you're passionate, you care about the community in which you live, you're willing to serve and volunteer to make the world a better place. You're just all-around great people.
Annie Storey: You are all in this career field to ensure that we all have safe and sustainable water throughout Illinois and even our broader region. You are all here to support each other to help each other, learn and grow, learn about new technologies.
Susan Franceschi: I'm always excited to learn that I'll be working with an AWWA Illinois section member.
What are some examples of Illinois Section AWWA member contributions to AWWA and our Section?
Heather Schmidt: Some examples of contributions that our members make are speaking and presenting on important topics to share the information and make sure everyone knows what's going on.
Laura Morgan: I would like to highlight are all of the incredible ways that ISAWWA members have made an impact on students and on teachers.
Annie Storey: You all contribute to the section in and AWWA probably more than you even realize from sharing information, hosting our events, to showing up at career fairs.
Nancy Sullivan: Committees, you've always had great representation. You're also doing cutting edge work for the section and AWWA on areas like operator training, reaching out to veterans to engage them in the workforce opportunities and much, much more.
