What insight from the CBC Conference will stick with you, and why?
Amaya Johnson: What will stick with me is the importance of exposure and putting yourself out there. I was able to meet some incredible professionals within the field that I want to go into. And you never know where the relationships you make can take you.
What was your experience like at ICSC’s CBC reception? Share a standout moment.
Amaya Johnson: I had such an amazing experience and to network with real estate professionals, gave me the motivation and helped me put into perspective what I can achieve if I continue to work hard.
What one piece of advice would you give to first-time student attendees of the CBC?
Amaya Johnson: One piece of advice I would give is be curious. Don't be afraid to ask questions. There's no such thing as a stupid question. So definitely just put yourself out there. You never know what could come of it.
