What do you hope teachers will take away from this course?
Lance Raabe: Hi, I'm Lance. I'm a hybrid blended learning instructor here at the Teaching Channel. I get to lead a course called Time Management Strategies. And it has been a blast connecting with teachers from all over the country who have joined me on this journey. The blended Zoom format of the course allows teachers to participate in live discussions and activities. It's what makes these courses really, really special. Our text is great. It includes a ton of strategies and activities to try and that's what we do during the Zoom. A ton of activities and strategies. During the Zoom, we're going to try our hand at multitasking which is impossible by the way and even take a moment to maybe try a little bit of meditation.
What do you love about this course?
Lance Raabe: One of my favorite parts of the course is when we take the time to practice saying a very, very, very important word. "No." I know we're supposed to say yes. We're always supposed to go above and beyond in this profession. But we're gonna try to keep things in check and remember the importance of self-care. We're gonna practice it. We're gonna say it and then we're gonna put it into practice. Sometimes you just got to say no.
