Speaker: Matthew George
Which course or program did you enroll in at HVACRedu.net
Matthew George: Hello. I'm enrolled in the HVACRedu dot net program, through Brownson University. primarily focusing on air conditioning and refrigeration.
How well do you feel the course or program met your expectations? Can you share any specific experiences or examples?
Matthew George: The, the courses have really definitely met my expectations. They cover a wide variety of, areas and, and topics and it's clearly explained and easy to understand, especially for somebody maybe works full time. our specific experiences, what's really nice is, you'll do a module and then when we go to live learning, it's great because we already have some, a little bit of knowledge going into school, into the classroom. So we can, at least not go in there just completely blind. So to say, you have already a general understanding of, of things that they coincide with what we're doing in school.
Has attending HVACRedu.net helped your career? If so, how?
Matthew George: Well, not exactly yet, but it definitely will. Um I'm in a 10 month program so once the program wraps up, what's really cool? Is that what I personally do is I take very detailed notes. I print out a lot of things. I love the handouts that I get and I compile a folder. So when I actually do get out in the field, I'm gonna have a just an incredible amount of resources to go back to uh when I need to. So I'm basically, I'm building my own library of information all from HVACRedu.
Would you recommend our courses or programs to others? Why or why not?
Matthew George: Yes, I definitely recommend the courses, and programs to others. for several reasons. One, they're very to the point, very easy to understand, especially if somebody has not been in school for a long time or maybe didn't go to school after high school. there's something for everybody. Anybody can do these programs. So I would highly recommend them. Like I said, especially to maybe the people that are a little bit older that work 8, 9, 10 hours a day with families. This is very, very user friendly. You can work at your own pace. There's really cool activities, there's games, et cetera that, and make you feel comfortable and, makes it very easy to retain information.
Were there any areas you think could be improved? If so, what are they and how do you think they could be better?
Matthew George: I think there's always areas for, for improvement. I'd like, I'd like a few, I'd like a little bit more, maybe some more games. Uh, not every module, does have games or little activities, the games make it fun, repeat them and kind of pound in your head. Some people learn a little bit better that way. gosh, let's see here. Otherwise I, I really think that, that, this program is really good. I can't say enough about it. So, as far as the improvement, maybe a little bit more trivia, maybe a little bit more different activities. but other than that, pretty cool.
