Speaker: Luis Valenzuela
Which course or program did you enroll in at HVACRedu.net
Luis Valenzuela: Yes, hello. Uh I started with HV AC rredu dot net. Um a couple of months months back. Um I took a, initially, I took a course uh to be certified uh for AC uh I went through the core exam um via the net uh ready to work program also was uh trained to get the AC uh technician um certification. Uh So far I can say that it's been a pretty uh educational experience meaning that um entering and, and um getting the information from the portals is uh easy, simple. And um it actually um helps in, in learning um the material as well as uh reviewing some of the books because we, because I also got, we also get uh books for, for that uh particular course. Um Also the help uh with emails and, and if things go wrong with resetting uh or you need a reset, uh the responses are usually pretty quick. Um One of the best experience I've, I've had with uh in taking courses uh currently taking the commercial refrigeration advanced course. I went ahead and got certified with the AC technician and finished that um with, with the instructor uh networking, um went ahead and got uh the lead to, to, to apply for a scholarship and get into the commercial refrigeration, uh which I'm doing now. Um I'm close to the end of that, but it's also been a wonderful experience. Uh Dick Dick works is uh um prompting that uh uh sections of, of uh the different sections of commercial refrigeration. I've got to say between the book and the webinar live uh Proctoring. Um, I, I really do understand on the material a lot better than just uh reading and comprehending and answering and doing the quizzes. Um the, this, the way it's set up. It's so, it's pretty, it's pretty, um um I, well, I don't wanna say challenging but it's, it's, it's pretty much, it, it helps in, in, in learning. So, uh it's been a wonderful experience. I got, I gotta say it and I think it's one of the best, um uh one of the best courses uh in HV AC uh that I've ever encountered. So OK, I gotta say nothing but good things about H A uh red net. Thank you.
How well do you feel the course or program met your expectations? Can you share any specific experiences or examples?
Luis Valenzuela: Hm, how well do you feel the course or program met your expectations? Um Like I said, I, I, I did, well, I didn't expect to have the, the way the set up was uh in the beginning um using the student um portal and accessing um the sections that are set up, um it with 11 has to leak in order to open the other one. So you would have to um get a, a good percent, 70% to enter and move on. So it was something and then the overall test the, the way it's uh um the way it's um provided um after one or two court um sections of the course, then um you basically get used to it and get yourself in a learning uh mode where, where now you, you set the program um and uh it meets the, the expectations because um the title and what particular things uh take interest. Um uh can you share any specific experience or examples? Um Well, I, I would say um uh once, once I take uh the sections quiz and then the, the final exams, um I pretty much get ready for them, um, by making sure that I highlight the main points in the material. And so, um, getting towards the end and, and, and having that information available and then the overall, I don't know, uh, exam to reach the meets the entire, um, expectation of what I learned or, and so it's, it's a, it's, it's a very good feeling to know that you're, you're averaging, um, a passing grade and because you're learning, uh, because I'm learning. So, um, I get all the certificates and put them in a, in a, a file and, uh, and pretty much, uh, keep it as a reference. So, yes, that's pretty much the only experiences that I could think of.
Has attending HVACRedu.net helped your career? If so, how?
Luis Valenzuela: Yes. Um, I became, um, uh, certified to work, uh, in the H VAC field, um, back in 2010, uh by taking the, um, vocation training and I received the EPA S and, um, the universal licensing. However, um, I didn't get in the field because I decided to continue my education, um, elsewhere. But now that, um, looking into getting into a, um, into a, uh, career in a track and coming back, um, taking these courses, I think it's, I think it's awesome that, that I took the opportunity to, um, join the leading organization out there in, in, um, Nate, which, uh, pretty much has, um, um, are the educational requirements in, in, in the industry. So, trying to get into the field as a career now, um, is going to, um, help me, uh, um, become, um, um, productive and hopefully hirable.
Would you recommend our courses or programs to others? Why or why not?
Luis Valenzuela: Yeah, I, I would recommend the courses and the program to anybody who is in the field or who wants to learn more about the track field. And um I would recommend these courses through this uh met because some of the greatest leaders in the field are part of the presentations that we have in the courses um using knowledge that uh is available um throughout years of experience and gaining um support throughout um processing knowledge. Um I think will makes the a student uh a better uh technician. And um I think there's, there can be a uh any, any, any other place online that um you would experience the same uh same things.
Were there any areas you think could be improved? If so, what are they and how do you think they could be better?
Luis Valenzuela: I really can't think of anything that should be improved. I believe that, um, um, the way the courses are set up the presentations, um, they all have a very good, um, information and the way one thing follows the next is, uh, a very good way to learn, um, in my opinion. So, I don't think, um, um, there's anything that needs improvement.
