Jane H: I always intend to leave reviews for good service, but very rarely do uh, but I'm actually more than happy to leave a review for the House Buyer Bureau. Um, we were in a position where we were asset rich, cash poor, we owned two houses but both houses need lots of work doing. Uh, we decided to sell the house we were living in and move to the other one. Um, but we needed to sell the property in order to release some funds to do it up. Um. I'd had neighbours and friends who were trying to sell their houses and the process seemed to be very precarious, time consuming, um, and then there's all the costs involved with solicitors and estate agents and all the hassle. Um, so I started looking into house buying services, and I found a really excellent website actually called The Advisory who had lots of free advice on what to look out for and what the pitfalls were. And they directed us to, uh, HBB and what an excellent recommendation it was. We contacted them and they were they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They're very professional, very approachable, friendly, guided you through the whole process, worked at our speed. They allocated a solicitor, like an independent solicitor was also easy to contact and everything went so smoothly. The whole thing took from around 6 weeks from start to finish, which they worked at the pace that we wanted, so that was perfect for us. They paid the money promptly, we couldn't believe everything had gone so well, to be honest.
