Caroline: In February 2025, myself and my husband and our two dogs owned a two bedroomed end of terrace property. We had lived here for 18 years, and we had to sell our property as my husband had a brain injury in July 2022. And after extensive rehabilitation, by December 2024, we had managed to find an adapted property, so that my husband could come home. We had our home valued, and we had buyers interested. Unfortunately, this fell through as they couldn't get a mortgage. So in February 2025, time was of the essence. I did some research and contacted a number of house buying companies. A number of the companies made me feel under pressure to go with them. And kept contacting me after I had said no. An independent advisor suggested two companies, one of which was House Buyer Bureau. I contacted Suzanne. There was no pressure put on me. I got a valuation which I felt was fair, and straightaway I felt at ease. The communication was brilliant. Any questions or worries I had about the process were answered so that I could understand. I'd only sold my mom's property property before, and it can seem very daunting selling a house. I communicated a lot with Kerrie. She was excellent. Patient, reassured me every step of the way. The process from start to finish took around 8 weeks. The solicitors, which were approved by House Buyer Bureau, were excellent. Again, communication second to none. I felt involved in the process. It was a quick, easy and stress free as selling a house can possibly be. I felt safe in their hands. I'd explained my situation. And felt reassured and safe all along the way. I hadn't felt this when talking to other companies about the initial valuation. I felt under pressure. And this was never the case with House Buyer Bureau. I would thoroughly recommend House Buyer Bureau. They were brilliant. And I felt... Safe, really was the main thing I would say. Um. I didn't feel as if there was anything untoward, and again, highly, highly recommend House Buyer Bureau. Thank you.
