Andy: I'd just like to say a massive thank you to House Buyer Bureau for purchasing my late father's house. I first contacted them in February after the passing of my father to see what the whole process was. I'd heard about cash buying companies and was a bit dubious, so I'm doing some research on the Internet. I came across House Buyer Bureau and they seemed like a genuine company. On contact with them. On hearing this, my sisters wanted to try and go through the traditional route with the estate agents. Around September October, we'd had about four viewings and no real interest. So I decided to contact Suzanne again to see if they'd still be interested in purchasing it. And an offer was made. We agreed to accept this offer. Once the survey had been done, and the report received, unfortunately, there was a red flag that had been brought up. It had the foam insulation installed in the loft, which has been on the news recently, and a lot of the mortgage lenders are not lending on properties with this installed. I was expecting the worse and for them to pull out, but they didn't. A new offer was made to enable them to be able to remove and put right the insulation, and that was about in line with what I priced it on looking at quotes of other companies on the Internet. We accepted this and then we were passed on to Kerrie to take us through to completion. Kerrie spoke to me the same day we accepted the offer and put us in contact with the solicitor, which, if you use one of their recommended ones, they cover the fees, which was a bonus. Kerrie was in contact on a weekly, sometimes daily basis, depending on what was going on with the solicitors chasing them to try and get the sale over line or to see if we needed anything or had any questions. We completed around four weeks later. And the money was in our accounts the same day, I'd recommend House Buyer Bureau to anyone wanting a quick sale or not wanting to deal with estate agents.
