Amanda : So once I was put through to the House Buyer Bureau, I spoke to Dorothy first and was immediately put at ease, and I knew that we were making the right decision to go with the House Buyer Bureau. Once the offer was through, we spoke as a family and then decided to go ahead. Each step was clearly
Amanda : told to us and the process was very quick and easy. They also put us through to one of us, they recommended a solicitor and we were then contacted by that solicitor. Everything was done via a portal through the solicitor, so all the paperwork was quick and easy to do
Amanda : Because my work is in a school, any correspondence was done via email or voicemail and then I would get back to them when I was able to speak, um, on the phone. I have to say that. anybody that I spoke to were friendly, they were knowledgeable, and I was very impressed with all of the staff.
Amanda : You know, it was a very trying time. Um, my, it was a sale, a house. A house that mom had left to us. Um, and, um, With her um passing not long ago, um, it was an easy, it just felt right, um, that they um were, really sympathetic and wanted to get the the process done quickly.
Amanda : And on the day of the completion,
Amanda : I got a call from my solicitor within half an hour to say that it was complete and the funds would be in my, in the account within half an hour, which way, which they were. Um, and yeah, I'm, I was very impressed. I would recommend really, um, anybody, especially with um a sale like my mum's that, you know, we, we tried through estate estate agents and yes, you know. The value was less, but to us that didn't matter. Um, the whole process mattered more than anything.
