Why is Salesforce important to the work we do today?
Deepak Popli: Salesforce is really important to the work we do today as it empowers us to effectively manage sales processes, marketing campaigns and customer interactions. With the new Salesforce GDM design model and integrated work processes, UOP has improved on forecast accuracy. It has enabled us to protect margins using the new code approval tools and digitized account planning.
What is the future vision for your team and how is that enabled by Salesforce?
Deepak Popli: Salesforce GDM is an important investment for the organization as data in Salesforce is critical for demand planning and next generation AI tools for predictive analytics. In 2024, we planned to integrate Salesforce with project management tool CORA that will give us visibility to resource demand by skills for projects to be executed. Also as part of the accelerator framework, we plan to further enhance sales force for digitized assets and contracts as enabler for e-commerce and digital support.
