Kyle Lozier - Fell in Love at Sea ?

Kyle Lozier: Hi, my name is Kyle Lozier. I'm the BDM in the Pacific Northwest in Northern California and for my HAL-entine story, I'd like to tell you a little bit about how I fell in love on board our ships. So in 2011 I was doing a fill-in contract onboard the M. S. Volendam and it was actually up in Alaska and we were actually going to be relocating down to Australia New Zealand to be a floating hotel. And so when I joined the ship we have, we used to have this entertainment show in the evening time called Let Us Entertain You where entertainment staff was introduced on board our ships and then so guests knew who we were. Well from the back part of the stage I noticed this very handsome percussion player and um found out what who he was and what he did on board our ship. And so I wanted to make it a point to actually talk to him, but it took me a good few weeks to build up the courage to actually go talk to him. And so of course we finally were able to hang out in a group scenario but then started to realize that we wanted to just hang out one on one together. So we actually had our first date in Hilo, Hawaii when we were making our way down to Australia New Zealand and then of course we were able to visit all these ports of call that we had never visited together. So uh this year we actually will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary, we have two beautiful baby girls, two cats and a dog. And so I think it's absolutely perfect. But that's my little personal story about how I fell in love on board one of our Holland America line ships.
