Happy Thanksgiving- Laura Meza

Laura Meza: Hi. All Laura. I just wanted to wish everybody in the US happy Thanksgiving and to everyone else on the team abroad and elsewhere. A happy beginning to the holiday season.

Laura Meza: My favorite holiday dish I would have to say is always the stuffing. I love stuffing. Uh, I don't think I've ever met one that I didn't like, but some of my favorites are, my mom makes a cornbread stuffing. That's really good. And, um, I learned a recent one for a sage stuffing that I've been using for the past couple, couple of years. And so actually I think every year we have about two or three different kinds of stuffing available. Um, so it's, it's one of those things that you never have any other time of year. We only have it during Thanksgiving. And so it makes it extra special because of that and, um, I'm currently looking forward to it now.

Laura Meza: My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is starting, um, all the decorations for, for Christmas. Uh, I start slow listening to Christmas carols about a week or two in advance. I'm currently listening to them right now in the background and then come Thanksgiving weekend is when we put up all of our stuff. And, um, you know, I usually do it with my kids and my mom and my, you know, you know, whatever family happens to be around at the time and we're always talking about, you know, what we want and what we liked for this year and what was great and, you know, it's a really good time to just connect and have fun and get excited about the coming holiday season. And it's one of my favorite things to do.
