Happy Thanksgiving from....

Fiona Schonewille - BDM Western Canada: Hello to all my wonderful colleagues south of the border. I wanted to take a moment um to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving this weekend. Try not to spend too much of those paychecks on those Black Friday sales and Cyber Monday. And uh remember Thanksgiving for what it really is about. It's being with those that you love time is so precious and uh make sure you take a chance to rest, recharge, enjoy those around you that you adore and time, time is so important. Reach out to somebody that you haven't had the opportunity to connect with in a while, but um really enjoy yourselves and make sure that you take some time for yourself as well because that is so incredibly important, so happy Thanksgiving from your colleague up here in Canada. And I'm wishing you a wonderful long weekend.

What is your favorite holiday dish?

Fiona Schonewille - BDM Western Canada: So what is my favorite holiday dish? Well, Thanksgiving in Canada is in October for those that may not know, but we love a full spread of turkey and ham. My husband is such a lover of ham. So he always makes the ham. I always make the turkey and we love every single one of the fixings. But cranberry is a must. I mean, I, I lather everything in cranberry. So, um that is the running joke in the family is Fiona gets a bowl of cranberry sauce to go with my turkey and everybody gets their own um, separate dish that they can take from. So, um, yes, my favorite dish is turkey with cranberry sauce and then those leftovers. Uh, those nice sticky warm buns days after Thanksgiving and you warm them up and you put your leftover turkey and cranberry and gravy. Oh, now I'm really jealous. I think I'm gonna have to start celebrating uh US Thanksgiving as well. But um, well, at least Christmas is just a little bit away. So I'll get the opportunity to have some turkey and stuffing and all that good stuff. So, enjoy your Thanksgiving dishes.

What is a Thanksgiving Tradition you cherish?

Fiona Schonewille - BDM Western Canada: So a favorite Thanksgiving tradition in our family. And it's really for any of our big holidays that we celebrate is those crackers. So we know do those crack Christmas crackers, but we do it at all of our holidays. And of course, um, the hats that come, those horrible paper hats that come in to those Christmas crackers. And, uh, we make sure that, um, you wear your hat throughout the meal and if it comes off, uh, my aunt will tape it to your head. But if you, if you take it off, then you are stuck doing the dishes. So that is one of our favorite, uh, family traditions.
