Congratulations to our Summit Award Winners!
Jade Disch & Elizabeth Shelby: We are so pleased to announce that Lukas Condie has won the summit award for the RMCC Manager of the Year for his outstanding contributions to our team. And for embodying the Hilton values every day. His unwavering commitment to excellence and willingness to support his colleagues makes him a true asset to our team. Lukas's leadership during pod meetings. His participation in the pride TMRG and representation of Hilton at the Romba conference are just a few examples of his outstanding work. His contributions have earned recognition from his peers and other leaders outside of the RMCC, including providing valuable insight to our Hilton reporting hub team. And let's not forget his willingness to step in and provide call coverage for all our team members, even outside of our work group. Lukas's dedication is truly inspiring. Lukas is truly deserving of this recognition and we couldn't be prouder of him and all of his accomplishments this past year. Congratulations.
Shawn Muchacho: Taylor. Congratulations on winning the RMCC Global Leader of the Year. Wow, what an amazing achievement. I could not be happier for you and I know I speak on behalf of the entire RMCC. Thank you for everything you did this past year and honestly, everything you've done since joining the RMCC, you were the driving force in building a high performing team and a thriving community up in McLean. Growing the team from 3 specialists to 32 specialists and 4 managers within a year's time is a daunting feat for any department or company, but you made it look seamless. Your leadership was crucial for the rapid growth and success of the McLean office. Your creativity, problem solving skills, amazing relationship building and positive attitude, fostered a collaborative community. Your involvement with Hilton Helping Hands was also extremely impactful and bridging your work between McLean and Dallas was inspiring to see. The McLean office and the RMCC as a whole would not be what it is without your countless contributions. We are truly so very lucky to have you and your leadership. And I'm honored I get to work with you on a daily basis. You are the epitome of what it means to fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. Congratulations again.
Carmen May: Angel Hernandez is a great example of excellence. During 2023 he started new challenges that led him to test his skills where he sought to innovate, seek new methods and change the vision, obtaining very good results. He has shown through his performance, the efficiency of the strategies he proposed. He has developed an excellent engagement with hotel teams and as well with other areas. His work has been recognized by them. He always seeks to help the rest of the team in any activity. He looks for resources and tools that help all the team to strengthen their knowledge. He has a great sense of hospitality and he's an example of teamwork. Finally, I would like to highlight his participation and commitment in the Travel With Purpose committee, an initiative that we started in RMCC in Mexico City in 2023 and in which he has been a key player. Thank you so much, Angel for your very hard work.
Chelsea Stewart: I'm excited to share a bit about our RMCC America's Support Summit winner, Martha Rush. If you're watching this, you probably already know a bit about the impact that Martha makes in the RMCC. But I'd like to take a moment and touch on a few of the high points over the last year. Martha's guiding light that seemed to be consistent was her desire to help find ways for hotel facing team members to become more efficient while following best practices, ultimately leading to improved performance. Martha acts as the RMCC representative for the short term commercial action team where she provides both support and direction to the project team and back to the RMCC. She's always thinking about the best ways to identify the right hotels and taking into account hotel specifics such as special event or market information. She does a fantastic job leading the way. She's a true subject matter expert on GRO and she has brought value and education to our team in multiple instances, whether it was the standard team training in Q3 where she focused on the forecast review process for our year end holidays or the thorough individual deep dives that she's provided throughout the year. Speaking on behalf of the entire performance support team, we are so excited she won this award and are thrilled to continue celebrating her.
Michael Czarcinski: Hello, I'm Michael Czarcinski Regional Director of Revenue Management and I nominated Juli Pray for DRM of the year in 2023. Juli is an exceptional team member who operates with the team first mentality and is dedicated to our collective success. She's consistent, persistent and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the success of her team and the property she supports. Juli's attitude is always positive. She's incredibly approachable and her ability to engage effortlessly with her team fosters a collaborative environment. A few of those ways are gaining share across OTA opaque, government, and other discount segments to the tune of triple digits in 2023. Her commercial acumen and hunter mentality have led her to exceed expectations at her two properties, capturing 6.1 points of market share growth and over $700,000 of RPI impact. Thank you Juli for what you do for our hotels and for our management company and congratulations on winning DRM of the year.
