What is one of your big take-aways from our ARC Experience? Describe how you will bring that into your practice as an educator.
Lauryn Pioro: One big takeaway from my experience in the ARC was just the power that one person has and how one person's advocacy can really affect the masses. and that's something that I'll continue to take into my educational career.
If you were to recommend this experience to a colleague, what would you share and why?
Lauryn Pioro: If I were to recommend this experience to one of my colleagues, um I would really recommend that they just come into this being very vulnerable and just being open to new experiences that are going to bring self awareness to what you're doing in the everyday practice, which in tune helps our students. So just come into it with a mindset of learning and reflecting on the practices that we have every day.
