Speaker: JODI R WINGER
Start by letting us know who you are, what position you are applying, and in what city/state.
JODI R WINGER: Hi, my name is Jody Winger. I'm applying for the medical office manager, patient experience coordinator in Saint George.
Why should we hire you?
JODI R WINGER: I take a lot of pride in the customer service I provide. Um I've been dedicated employee um with good attendance. I have the ability to work unsupervised. Um I did a lot in my last position. Um I like to learn new things and advance and grow and I like to be a part of a, a team that truly makes a difference in people's lives. Um That means a lot to me.
What is your greatest accomplishment so far?
JODI R WINGER: For greatest accomplishment. I'm really leaning towards the personal side, uh versus career side. And I'm gonna have to go with being a mother and raising really an amazing man. I'm really proud of what we've been through and the person he's become. And then, um, also, um, the years that I was, uh, my mom's person during her dementia journey, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Describe your ‘perfect’ day?
JODI R WINGER: My ultimate perfect day is being on the beach in Aruba and swimming in the ocean with my son. Um My local perfect day is um being on my paddle board at any of the local state parks, the lakes with the new friends I've made here in Saint George.
In the next 3-5 years where do you see yourself personally and professionally. Share as many details as you are comfortable with.
JODI R WINGER: Professionally. I am looking for something um, that I can really dedicate myself to, to take me through to my retirement, which is always a way. Um, but I want something fulfilling with growth that, um I can do until that day comes and personally, um, just to keep like, you know, deepening those roots here in Saint George, I really love it here. I plan to stay here probably the rest of my life and, um, just, uh deepen the friendships and enjoy everything the state has to offer, um hoping for some good work life balance. But I'm really looking for a career I can learn and grow and um finish my, my working days.
Who do you think of for; motivation, inspiration and direction? Why
JODI R WINGER: For motivation. I will say my son um because I want him, I want to be a good example that um working hard um as one of my residents at the nursing home said work hard works. If you want to have a good life and you wanna have a retirement, work hard. Um inspiration would be my aunt. She, she was the perfect example of that. Um She really dedicated herself to her career. Uh She was, she made an, an excellent living, she was able to retire early and now she's really enjoying life and, and she, she did amazing and, and that is the goal um direction. Um I'm gonna be honest with you and say prayer. Um I, I believe in a higher power and um so I pray.
What gives you a sense of Purpose?
JODI R WINGER: I think the base root of it would be human connection. Um, whether it, it was at my job helping the residents and their families, um, friends, friendship, um, being there for them, my mom, being there for everything. Um, that was really gratifying. I think it just comes down to human connection.
What does success look like to you?
JODI R WINGER: I think I'm gonna say, having a positive impact on the world around me. Um The people I work with, the people I serve when I'm working, um family, friends back to all, back to that human connection. Um And then, uh also, you know, working hard and being able to achieve my personal goals um and enjoy life while I'm here.
What would be your top 3 book recommendations regardless of genre and why?
JODI R WINGER: I honestly don't have any book recommendations. I haven't sat down and read a book in ears and it's just something I, I literally don't have an answer to. Sorry.
