How painful, limiting, or life impacting was your hearing loss or tinnitus before visiting our office?
Jonathan Haggard: How painful limiting or life impacting was my hearing loss before or, or tinnitus before visiting the office? It was pretty rough. Um, couldn't hear my babies. I've got a three year old and a five year old, uh, struggling trying to hear my wife and, um, now I'm, I can hear my kids, I can hear birds chirping. Um, I can hear all the little, all the little sounds that I didn't really realize that I didn't hear before.
What are the positive changes in hearing, reduced tinnitus, improved memory, robust relationships you've experienced with treatment?
Jonathan Haggard: Positive changes in hearing, reduced tinnitus, improved memory, robust relationships I've experienced with treatment. Um Everybody here at the office is just absolutely amazing. Um The positive changes in my hearing, like I said in the previous video, I can hear my kids, I can hear birds chirping, I can hear things that just, I didn't realize I didn't hear. Um while I've got my hearing aids in the uh the tinnitus is almost next to nothing. Um My memory I it's, I'm starting to get it back a little bit. So, um I'm quite happy with what I, what I've got.
What were your top concerns when deciding to treat your hearing loss?
Jonathan Haggard: Uh, what were my top concerns when deciding for my hearing treatment loss? Um, mainly just my wife telling me that I needed to go get something done about my hearing. Um, my top concerns were I wanted to hear my kids and, uh, wanted to be in every step of their life and that includes hearing them. Um, other than, than that, I don't really have any concerns. Uh, they, the, the hearing aids are affordable. Um, I've got a great team here at the office that will, that does everything that I need to, that needs to be done.
How would you describe your treatment experience with Hearing and Brain Centers?
Jonathan Haggard: How would I describe my treatment experience here with hearing and brain centers and it's absolutely amazing. Um, like I said, is the, the team here. They treat me like I'm family. Um Just if I've got a question, they answer it immediately. If they don't have an answer, they would give me an answer very, very quickly. Um, like I said, is they treat me like I'm a family here. So, um treatment experience is pretty spot on II, I enjoy it very much.
How important was Dr. Darrow's book and pre-education to your treatment journey?
Jonathan Haggard: Um the pre educ education was sent to me through email and it was very, very helpful to understand what was actually going on, why I had not or what caused Tinnitus and how we could deal with it whenever we got here to this stage. Um If you, I mean, I, I would watch every one of the videos and read the book so that way you could under deeper understand uh what causes Tinnitus and what the repercussions of not doing anything are.
What is the #1 thing you would tell friends or family who struggle with hearing loss/tinnitus about seeking treatment right away?
Jonathan Haggard: The number one thing that I would tell my friends and family that are struggling with hearing loss and tinnitus about seeking treatment right away is do it. Um, um, very young. I don't have or I didn't have, I've had a very hard life on my ears and my body. Um, I'm glad that I got it done. I really am. Uh, it's amazing. It's really amazing how much you actually don't hear whenever you have hearing loss and tinnitus. Um, it's amazing what you can hear whenever you get the treatment for it. All the little sounds that you completely forgot about like your birds tripping, uh, your kids playing in the background, uh, not having to turn the dead burn TV, all the way up to 100. It's, it's actually, it works out a lot.
