Please introduce yourself and share why you chose to work with Hayley as a coach.
Anika Rani: Hi, I'm Anika and I've chosen Haley as my coach because lucky for me many, many years ago, Haley was actually a manager of mine at a previous job that I had. And while we only worked together for a short amount of time, Hayley still had a meaningful impact on me as a working professional and many of my other colleagues as well. So through the way I learnt from her, the way she interacted with me, communicated with me, uh helped me to reframe my thoughts and gave me tools back then. Uh It's only been that and so much more with her as my coach now. So, yeah, that's why I choose to continue working with Hayley as my coach.
What was the main challenge or goal that you wanted to address with coaching?
Anika Rani: When I started working with Hayley, I didn't necessarily go into it with a specific goal in mind. I went into it as a very open and exploratory thing because I was in a place where I was dealing with a lot of critical beliefs about myself. I had a very harsh inner critic. I had a lot of limiting beliefs about myself and I was struggling with a very low cost confidence. And so a over many, many, many months and many sessions, Hayley helped me to set small goals and small challenges to overcome. And she really helped me to work through it because I didn't really know what I was dealing with on that first call that we had. So. Yeah.
What has been the most significant impact of working with Hayley as a coach?
Anika Rani: The most significant way in which Hayley's coaching has impacted me is really getting me out of the biggest darkest and deepest hole and rut that I've ever been in, in my career. The place I was in 12 months ago is completely opposite to the place that I am now. And I attribute a huge, huge part of that to the work that I've done with Hayley over countless coaching sessions over countless months. Um Moreover, she's equipped me, she's given me tools, she's given me resources, examples and references and frameworks. Everything comes backed up by a reasoning, a rationale um like research, searched, uh tools, everything comes with a little piece of equipment that I get with how to navigate a particular scenario and that's really helpful because I walk away, feeling really empowered and I feel more able to tackle the next thing that might come along.
