Speaker: Bruce Campbell
Bruce Campbell: Hey, we've been part of the Havener Collective now for close to a year and it's been fantastic. But to really understand, you know, why it's been good, you have to go back to a year ago today when we were waiting for Havener Collective to come out. But how we were operating was with our old playbook. So what we would do is we would often hit up people for first meetings for the first time and get lots of rejection. When we did get meetings, we'd go into there with our pitch book, usually 30 maybe 35 pages long, filled with lots of technical graphs, jargon, data. We had very few LinkedIn followers. Fast forward to today, and what do we have? Well, our LinkedIn followers have almost doubled. We get great engagement with pretty much all of the posts that we do. And when we look at our pitch deck, it's completely different. Our one page is completely different. But how we get meetings is really different. Before, we used to really just try to hit up as many people as we could. Got lots of rejection. And now we have a completely different approach. Stacy talks about the give, give, give, ask. We've adopted that. And what we found is that it gets us a lot more meetings and those meetings are a lot easier to get into than they ever were before. How have we liked the The Collective? It's great, not only from what we've learned, but also from the camaraderie and also the relationships that we have with all of the other Collective members. This was something that we never really expected would be a highlight or would be something that we would get out of it. But seeing what other managers are doing, seeing how they market has really been helpful for us, for sure. As far as as going forward, we're excited to be part of the, The Collective wins. We've seen wins in many different ways. You know, a few of them, I've talked about, you know, obviously the LinkedIn followers, the amount that we see engaged in our posts, the fact sheet that we've changed, the stories that we've adopted for describing what we do and how we do it and what our differentiators are. And then in addition to that, you know, really, when we look at how we get meetings and getting into those meetings. So thanks very much, everyone at Havener group and we look forward to continue to work with you in the future.
