Charlotte Adams

Charlotte Adams: Hi. My name is Charlotte. I was born in New Zealand, grew up in Hong Kong, and I'm now currently studying media and communications at Loughborough University in the UK.

In One Word, how would you describe your experience as a #Me Ambassador?

Charlotte Adams: I would say rewarding just because you get to see the whole process and it all come together and work with various different facilitators and see kind of how it comes along for them and how they really enjoy it all, I'd also say seeing the participants, being able to speak to them being a facilitator myself, along with being an ambassador, was really beneficial as well. So yeah, my overall word would be rewarding.

What was the most rewarding part of being a #Me Ambassador?

Charlotte Adams: I think thinking back to my previous answer, obviously being a facilitator and an ambassador at the same time worked really well. and being able to be present in the course but also be behind the scenes and working all the stuff behind the scenes really enabled me to feel more passionate about it and get more involved And I think through meeting various different people and through having the course, the group of girls that I had on my personal course as I'd say it was really beneficial, and I really enjoyed doing the course overall

How has the #Me course helped you?

Charlotte Adams: I would say this role just further developed my like organisational skills and teamwork skills, working with the team, and making sure that I got all the tasks that needs to be done done to the deadline as well as having the registers completed and sending out the weekly messages. and just communicating and having those strong communication skills were my main skills developed across it

What is your advice to future #Me Ambassadors?

Charlotte Adams: take it all in your stride. Don't get too stressed if you know something doesn't work or something doesn't quite go your the way you want it to In the first couple of weeks, it will all work out and it will be ok.
