Please share a few thoughts about your overall experience with Harbor. Feel free to just say my baby instead of their name!

Hi, I'm Gracie Larkin. And we did sleep training for our beautiful son, Killian. We started at around 22 weeks old and from, from honestly, from my first trimester till he was 22 weeks old. My sleep wasn't very good. I struggled with really bad insomnia during my pregnancy. But then just turned into you being just like you're so uncomfortable by the very end of your pregnancy that you're not sleeping. And then um when he's a newborn, you know, it's, it shakes you, it shakes you when you have a new baby because you just don't realize you don't know until, you know, and it is so demanding and so rewarding, but the lack of sleep really did add up. And I personally struggled with a lot of postpartum depression and anxiety and having that lack of sleep was just only making it increasingly worse. And so doing the decision to sleep train was a difficult decision to make because, you know, you, you have to make that choice to be like, all right, the baby is going to go into his own room. Now he's not going to be in his bass, the bassinet next to you, you're not gonna be able to watch him and again, with the depression and anxiety, that was really scary for me. But knowing that I had a professional looking over him and watching him, um, through the system gave you peace of mind and I immediately was like, amazing, great because I'm a new mom and it was scary. But having that person, having the night nanny that I'm able to, the night nurse that I'm able to just message and touch base with to make sure he's doing great and he's, he's safe and everything like that. It gave me the peace of mind. So I was able to a get some sleep for the first time in so long. And gosh, the gift of sleep is the best, is the best thing ever. And, um, and also gifting my child sleep, he's now sleeping. It's been about a month after a little over a month of sleep training and he's sleeping anywhere from 11 to 13 hours. And I did not think that that was going to be possible and I am living proof that it is possible. And on top of that because he's sleeping so well at night, he's sleeping during the day during his naps and he's doing, he's doing so great and it really is so amazing. Um, to, I also am now getting sleep, I may be getting anywhere from 7 to 9 hours of sleep myself depending on how tired I am and I'm waking up and I'm able to be a better mom and show up for my son and he is just such a happy baby because he's getting his sleep. And I'm a happy mom because I'm getting my sleep and it's really helped with the anxiety and depression. It's, I mean, that's something that I think never goes away the anxiety because you're always going to worry about your child. But you're just, you feel better knowing that um they're safe in their crib, they're getting the sleep that they need and I'm getting the sleep that I need and everyone's happy and it's so great and just honestly having the professionals guiding you through the system. So you don't have to, you don't really need to think about it. I was, I think I was very scared to do sleep training on my own because I didn't want to think about it. I didn't want to have to do the research. I didn't want to have to do it. And it's so nice to have someone who does it for you, does all the work for you and you just finally get to sleep and they get to own. And honestly, like I got sleep trained myself by basically having someone teach me and train me on how to teach my son and train him on how sleeping. And now he's sleeping and it's amazing. And it's the best thing that's ever happened to our family other than having the baby. And so I highly recommend it, I'm going to use it again for sure for my next child. And I recommend it to everybody. Honestly, it couldn't, it couldn't be the better, like there couldn't be anything better for a new mom. It's the best thing.
