What challenges did your business face from an IT perspective prior to working with Endpoint?
Curtis Bean: Hello. So some of the challenges we were facing as a company in our IT department was the fact that we had an on-site server - that when the power went out, we'd have to reboot it all back up. Sometimes they'd come back up and we would be back up and running, but there was one day where we were down for a whole 8 hours because the server just reset and it nuked everything. So with us going with Endpoint, they moved us to an entirely cloud-based server system. Which in turn makes it easier for when we have these power outages to get our systems back up and running and get our people working. And get our orders out the door for our clients.
Why did you select Endpoint as your IT partner?
Curtis Bean: One of the main reasons we chose Endpoint to be our IT partner was because they came back with other options for us, other than keeping our on-site server. They were the first IT company that said, "Hey, why aren't you guys on a cloud-based server system to help mitigate some of these problems you're having with an on-site server?" And we were like whoa - we had no idea there was such a thing. So that's the main reason why we selected Endpoint as our IT partner.
What benefits have you seen from having Endpoint as your IT partner and would you recommend them to other small businesses?
Curtis Bean: Some of the benefits we have seen with Endpoint is the fact that they are willing to help us out when we have questions about moving to different computer systems and all that and all the other IT things. We just recently, back in February, moved our whole office to Macs. We were on a PC-based and we were able to talk to them, ask them if this was a good idea. They gave us good insight on how this would work, and they were very crucial to our deployment of all of our new Macs in our office. They did an excellent job getting them all set up so it was just plug in, sign in, and everything loaded up. It was a great experience, and I would recommend them to other small businesses that are looking to have a good IT company that is willing to help out, and reach out to them whenever is needed for questions.
