Please introduce yourself and tell us why you started working out with Habib Health and Fitness.
Leila Doumanis: Hi, my name is Leila. I've been working out with rob for about 89 months. I initially started looking for a trainer november of last year and I was really looking for someone that could um up my game and give me some pointers on how to increase my form, Put on some muscle mass and a lot of that was to get myself ready for two separate physical fitness tests. I have active duty Marine Corps, I have to do pull ups, sit ups, maneuver under fire, which is just really doing a bunch crazy stuff with some weight and rob. Put together a plan for me for my physical fitness test last year I was able to get a perfect score on pull ups which is 11 for my age group and then I was able to complete my sit ups. No problem. I was also able to shave some time off of my three mile run I think I got rid of or I pared down about two or three minutes on my run time for that test. So I passed with flying colors and then additionally, I also have something called a combat fitness test and again, rob was able to work with me on some very specific muscle movements that helped increase my ability to score higher. So for that test I was able to get a perfect score on ammo can lift, which is £35 push of ammo cams. I have to do. I think I'm like 70 in two minutes. So I got a perfect score on that and then also some of the weight training that he provided me and some of the recommendations he provided me on forum, also shaved some minutes off of my run time.
Please describe your experience working with Rob and Habib Health and Fitness.
Leila Doumanis: what I've really enjoyed about working with rob and I have worked with a few trainers in the past. Um he uses our sessions to provide me kind of educational background on why we're executing movements, the way that we are. I have worked with trainers that are more like, you know, max push all the time, as much weight as you can, um as you can stack on in every session and I think rob is really good about creating an environment where I feel safe to, you know, say, hey, I don't think I'm there yet, or these are the concerns I have, and then also just making sure I understand why we're doing what we're doing and that it is not always the best to just go max weight all the time. Um one of the other things I really liked about working with rob is he's been really flexible with my schedule and then um I have different tests for my job and those tests kind of required drastically different things. So in my training plan, he's also been extremely flexible in adjusting, you know, by week or working with me months at a time to create a plan that works for the goals that I have
What have you learned, accomplished, and how has your life changed while working out with Rob and Habib Health and Fitness?
Leila Doumanis: So in the past eight months, working with rob, I've been able to um decrease my weight by about £10 and that is a sustainable £10 of weight loss. I have um you know, worked with folks are done training on my own where I have decreased my weight one month, but then it was right back the next. So some of the nutrition recommendations that he's given me the workout recommendations, it is just part of my lifestyle now. So I am very happy to say that I am £10 below where I was when we started and I've been able to consistently keep that weight off. Uh, Rob's also encouraged me to, I've always wanted to do some type of competition. I'm still very far away from competing in any way, shape or form, but rob gave me some resources and encouraged me to seek an additional trainer. So, I'm actually 11 months into an additional training plan and I'm hoping to do some type of competition in 2023.
