Speaker: Art S.

Tell us about your Guitar journey before you discovered Steve Stine and GuitarZoom.

Art S.: It's been a while since I tried to play a little lead. I am usually just custom to cowboy chords as they call them and Steve makes exercising really easy. Of course my problem's going to be going from 1 to 4th and 1 to 2 is really easy 2 to 3 is really easy, but going from 1 to 4 is my difficult point right now. I don't use my pinky that often. Have never really used it, except when I'm playing the D chord, you know, stuff like that. But Steve, good course. I feel like a beginner again, but I'm happy to do it. And, looking forward to the progress as we go along. So keep up the great work. Looking forward to more GuitarZoom courses.

How would you describe the results you’ve seen in your personal playing and learning of the guitar?

Art S.: Results in my personal plane. Well I did the first 12 which is basically finger exercising. And I really enjoyed working along with him. I have still have a lot of more work to do. I'm not going anywhere past the first 12 lessons anyway. So as long as I'm working on this it's gonna take a while. My cords are doing good and I'm hoping that these finger exercises will help me better with my bar chords. So to say I almost have always have trouble with bar chords at 68 years old. My fingers don't work that well but the exercising will make them more stronger and I'll be able to I'm sure I'll be able to progress and see me playing bar chords more as well as a finger picking. So see what happens.

What was something you didn't expect from GuitarZoom that really surprised you?

Art S.: Well, when I got the first package in the mail with the essential finger exercises, I've seen the DVD and I'm saying, oh, my, my computer doesn't have a DVD player, we use flash drives now. So I didn't realize that we could actually go online and do the same, not the DVD, but the same videos online, which I'm doing now. So it made a lot easier being able to be in front of my computer while playing my guitar. So I really appreciate the course. And look forward to more videos. Thank you.

If you have to compare GuitarZoom to any other alternative, what would you say?

Art S.: Pairing GuitarZoom to any... wow. Try to say that three times real fast to any other alternative. But what I say, well, I've done others tried them out so far, GuitarZoom seems to be the best fit for me, so let's keep going Steve.

What would you say to someone who's thinking of signing up for a GuitarZoom Course?

Art S.: Well, I would say to someone who is signing up for GuitarZoom, to hey, try it out. The only thing I would say, try it out. It's good for me so far. I like it. I enjoy the courses that Steve has planned for everybody. And it's been working for me, so it may work for you, too. Try it out.
