Speaker: Irene Campbell, Track and trace
Can you share a little about your background and experience? What led you to join GTS Transportation as a remote team member?
Irene Campbell: Hello, my name is Irene. I'm originally from Ukraine, currently living in uh Poland. My career in logistics started back in 2017 at Gulfstream Logistics, uh where I used to be a dispatch. Then in 2020 I moved to the company ever Transportation Systems where I worked in video and then I was an account manager and I found out about GTS from Omar. I've known him for years, um, back when I was a carrier. So I, I asked him if you guys were hiring and that's how I got to GTS.
How have you found your experience working remotely for GTS so far? What aspects of the job do you enjoy the most?
Irene Campbell: I actually really enjoy working remotely because I feel like I'm more focused and nothing is distracting me and I feel more productive that way. And also it's nice because I'm not tied to one specific place.
What motivates you to stay with GTS, and how do you feel about the company's culture and support for remote employees?
Irene Campbell: I have been in the company for almost a year and so far I haven't had anything that I don't like about the company. I like all the policies and of course, big plus is, uh, being able to work remotely and the motivation is to uh, growth in this company.
Looking ahead, what are your career goals, and how do you see yourself growing within the company?
Irene Campbell: First I would like to try carrier cells and see if that's something that I would like because I haven't tried it so far in my career and then maybe go back to the account manager.
