Can you share a little about your background and experience? What led you to join GTS Transportation as a remote team member?
Uh Hello, my name is Anela Uh So after university, I worked in a family restaurant for a while. Then I worked remotely as a technical customer support. Uh My first experience in trucking industry was working uh for Taylor's Shipment Solutions for a while. I started as a dispatcher, then moved on in a customer support and billing section. Then I worked as a travel coordinator for peak support. Then I was back again in trucking industry. Um I like this job because, um, it keeps me very occupied. Uh It something is always happening and um I pretty much like that, um uh regarding uh working uh um as a billing clerk in GTs Transportation. Uh I applied because I've heard all the best reviews uh for this company, for example, on linkedin about great uh support environment. Um Also I like the fact that I can work remotely because that is the way I can be more uh uh very productive and I can avoid um commute stress every day and stuff like that.
How have you found your experience working remotely for GTS so far? What aspects of the job do you enjoy the most?
Uh working for GTs remotely so far. Uh It's been really great. I really like it. I like it because I really feel like a part of this company, everybody is so willing to help. But every time I am communicating with lots of people on daily basis, uh it's a really stress free job. Uh although uh it implies a face based environment. Um I really like doing it. I like communicating with uh all those people. And yeah, and that's the aspect I like the most I like communicating uh also with the drivers and they are also friendly.
What motivates you to stay with GTS, and how do you feel about the company's culture and support for remote employees?
Well, I haven't felt like a part of some team for a while now and working here, I really feel like a team member and that really motivates me to stay in this company. Uh I like the interaction, the sharing of ideas and that feeling of uh trust. Uh Like we are all moving forward in the same direction. Uh Despite the fact, I'm working remotely, I can really feel the energy and the enthusiasm in this company. And to be honest, um I wouldn't change a thing.
Looking ahead, what are your career goals, and how do you see yourself growing within the company?
Uh regarding this question, um I see myself as a part of this company uh in long term aspects. Uh I would like to utilize all my knowledge so far to grow together with this company. Uh I can add that I do like challenges and I love uh the feeling that I am challenging myself every day and don't mind. Um My responsibility is being increased.
