Speaker: Catherine Dauphin
Catherine Dauphin: One of the key takeaways and highlights of attending this workshop for me. Is the task to skill framework and template that Mariah provides.
What were you struggling to explain about your work before this?
Catherine Dauphin: Before this workshop, I was struggling to put together a story that clearly articulated the impact and outcomes of my work across my previous roles.
What’s one outcome you got from this that you can use right away?
Catherine Dauphin: One of the key takeaways and highlights of attending this workshop for me. Is the task to skill framework and template that Mariah provides. In that template, it really helps you take your day to day work, projects, you know, your wins, and it helps you translate those into outcomes and impact. And I've been using it specifically to help prepare for interviews. So, for me, that was the biggest, uh, takeaway and something I was able to use literally that same day, uh, after I attended the workshop.
If a friend asked “Should I sign up?” what would you tell them in one sentence?
Catherine Dauphin: If a friend asked me, should I attend this workshop, I would definitely say yes. Um, for me, this workshop was not just about listening to Mariah talk to us about, you know, tips and suggestions. It was a real workshop where we worked on our task to skill templates together. Everyone has an opportunity to ask questions or to share what you're building and get real-time feedback from Mariah. So, I definitely think it's worth it and I absolutely would say yes to my friend. You should attend this workshop.
(Optional) Do you feel more clear and confident about your skills after taking this course?
Catherine Dauphin: After taking this workshop, I am definitely feeling more confident in my abilities to come prepared to interviews to really highlight the impacts that I've had throughout the years with different work that I've done. Um, I'm obviously going to keep working on it and continue building on those skills, but I have a tangible, uh, tool that I can use, and, um, I definitely feel more confident now that I've attended that, this workshop.
