How would you describe your experience with GREG GRAY OPEN MIC🎙️LIVE and how it has benefited you as an insurance professional?

Ethan Lansdown: Oh man. Where do I start? I love the OPEN MIC🎙️LIVEs. It's always fun to hear what other agents have to say and hear their perspective. And, you know, a lot of these people have been doing it longer than me. So to gain some of their knowledge from what they have to say during the OPEN MIC🎙️LIVE is awesome. And then just the role play, you know, breaks the ice. It really puts me, you know, back in the zone that I need to be in to properly close sales or have those rate increase conversations with customers. And I think it's been really beneficial some of the tactics that Greg brings to the table and that he shares with all of us, I think, you know, since the industry is ever changing, I love how Greg has been able to adapt and share all that with us. It's been really refreshing.

Can you share a specific success story or "aha moment" that resulted from OPEN MIC🎙️LIVE training?

Ethan Lansdown: So the biggest aha moment was after we did an OPEN MIC🎙️LIVE where we were talking about being proactive for rate increases for customers and having to call them instead of them calling in us and being all upset about it. I actually took it upon myself to call one of my favorite customers that I knew was renewing soon that I had recently worked with and they happened to get their renewal notice and it was like almost a 25% increase and I called them to let them know and offered solutions for them. And I did, you know, basically the task list that Greg had set up for us and it was such an easier conversation. They were grateful and it was just good to hear their voice again because it was my favorite customer. So that was a really big aha moment that ironically happened the same day. So, thank you Greg.

“What about OPEN MIC🎙️LIVE do you find most valuable, and why would you recommend it to others?”

Ethan Lansdown: So I think something that's really valuable for the OPEN MIC🎙️LIVE is relatability. It kind of helps put into perspective that we're not alone, right? Like our struggles aren't exclusive to just our office or just our state, right? Like everybody's going through things right now as, as agents. And I would definitely recommend it to others if they feel like they want to have an opportunity to see that they're not the only one struggling with it, like with rate or with, you know, difficult customers or just shoppers. And I think that, you know, Greg's approach is really kindhearted and it's also just really genuine. And as long as we get rid of the mental objection and we stop shopping from our wallets, right? When we talk to customers about rates, I think everything will improve for us as agents. And I'm really grateful and I would totally recommend anybody join it. It's a safe space.
