What were you looking for in a high school, and why did you choose TAA - Indiana?
Kaley S. : I was looking for in a high school something that was self-paced. And I chose this academy because it was... it's kind of self-paced but at the same time, it's a kind of, you know, get on there any time of the day, night, and you know complete a couple classes and assignments and then I also like how the counselors and the teachers are very understandable about your time and things about that.
What was the enrollment process like?
Kaley S. : It was actually a very fast process. I was kind of nervous and scared that it was going to take, you know, a couple of weeks of getting in, transferring my credits, getting all the information in, and the paperwork was going to take some time, but it was actually very fast paced, which was very much appreciated and
Describe how your experience at TAA - Indiana has differed from your last school experience.
Kaley S. : This experience with my last school experience was I, I like how it's split. They split your classes up only two classes per month or whenever you get done with them so you don't feel like too overwhelmed with everything because sometimes I get very overwhelmed with too much pressure on me and knowing that I have to get some amount of things done that I see knowing and stuff like that. But my last school, they had like just put all my classes on me of course it was like a self-paced but just knowing that I had to do all them classes kind of just. Set me back a little bit, but I like how they do their classes.
What has made TAA - Indiana a good fit for you?
Kaley S. : What make this school a good fit for me was by... Look like I said before, like I like how y'all, how they do their classes and I I like how the program is set up. I like how the website is set up, it's not too confusing, it's not too complicated. Communication like I said before and just I really like my counselor he's very nice. He checks up making sure everything's OK. If he does see I'm a little behind, just calling to make sure everything's OK, very considerate and thoughtful.
What would you tell students who are interested in enrolling about The American Academy - Indiana?
Kaley S. : I personally know a couple of people that actually would be a good fit in the school, and I tell them all the time like, it's self paced, get on there any time of the day, night. I like to prefer a little bit during the nighttime... basically through the day, I get on there at night. And just like I tell them all the time, it's not as bad as people think because I think it's like they know they have to do a lot of classes so they think they're just going to get handed a bunch of classes and I try to tell them that it's not too overwhelming and it's very like just very kind of common sense like if you have common sense, you will do good in the program, I feel like.
