John C.: My name is John Cinto-Bamaca I'm 19 years old and a senior at AchievePoint.
Why did you enroll at AchievePoint?
John C.: My sister and I enrolled at AchievePoint due to the convenience. It was close to where we lived and the very flexible schedules.
Describe a day in your life as an AchievePoint student.
John C.: A day in the life as an AchievePoint student would be more laid back and casual. In the experience for my sister and I, we come in, we get our work done and then we go once we're finished with all that. And my favorite part of AchievePoint is the staff being around, being available in case I'm struggling in an assignment that I may not understand.
What part of AchievePoint has been most helpful for you and why?
John C.: One of my favorite parts of AchievePoint would be in mornings, most mornings, Ms. Greer's motivational speeches. Every time I hear them, it always gets me motivated and feeling better about myself if I struggle or I fall, like I don't do any assignments or I haven't done much, and it really helps me out and I've never had that type of support in any other school. And that's just amazing for me. It's my favorite part.
How has your life/mindset changed since starting at AchievePoint?
John C.: As a whole, my mindset has become so much more positive when I started at AchievePoint because beforehand, it just, I was kind of in a rough patch with school. I didn't think I was going to be able to graduate on time. But after coming here and putting in the work and getting the motivation from all the staff, I will be graduating next year.
