How (and why) are you taking action on climate change solutions in, for, and with your community?
Luka: Hello, my name is Luca and I'm from Country Georgia. In recent years, the population of my country including me started to be more environmentally aware. For example, in my country, there is a project named Denne. Uh in this project, people are converting plastic waste to uh a phone charger. My classmates and I actually are participating in this project. We are donating use markers and other plastic waste and we are hoping that this action will reduce the amount of plastic waste in our country.
Who or what inspires/inspired you to care about climate change and climate solutions?
Luka: Hello, my name is Su Kai and I'm from Country Georgia. My country took some noticeable damage because of uh climate change. Uh My family and I uh go to village practically every summer. And when I was a child, I noticed that uh the river which goes through uh the village had almost dried up and this was my first time experiencing the effects of climate change uh on my surroundings. And it serves as an inspiration for me to uh uh take part in climate action uh because it's really heartbreaking to see uh uh this beauty of nature in this state.
