Speaker: Irakli, Tbilisi, Georgia
How (and why) are you taking action on climate change solutions in, for, and with your community?
Irakli: My name is Rishi Rosia. I'm a high school student residing in Georgia. I'm taking climate action in my community in various ways. I spread knowledge about the importance of combating climate change. I encourage people around me to plant trees and participate in local a forestation projects. These have meaningful options to take as wildfires have led to deforestation such as caused landslides. I work with my community to combat climate change. We take part in community services across the country to help solve climate issues. The main reason I care about climate is that it has affected me and the people around me, especially those living in rural areas in negative ways. Climate change has caused shift in agricultural patterns as we don't have much time to stop climate change. I decided to take action to solve this critical crisis.
