How (and why) are you taking action on climate change solutions in, for, and with your community?

Gisele Uwinpuhwe : Thank you. My name is EPH Moe. I'm a public health student in Rwanda and it's where I live about climate change and social inquired, I am passionate about creating much impact in my community. This is after I was concerned about why floods, landslides, droughts and these rising and falling temperatures would work in a region where known for 1000 years old with a good climate. After I read about the consequences of these changing patterns in our climate. I develop the urge for resilient solution to the community. This is for social justice, for these v communities and ecosystems offer our health benefits through cleaner air or water. So we need sustainable practices like waste reductions on cycling, water saving technologies, circular economy or crime and smart agriculture. But without the community engagement would be in my community, you may find many people wondering why the government is always locating them, displacing them from their very pre they call high risk zones. People are wondering why they moved from the problems to other problems because they lack the assistance. The next problems like assistance like financial assistance. So through my capacity, I can enable my community to be aware of these climate change solutions and embrace them. This can be achieved after a free committed advocacy for my community in a rock administration as they need to adapt to these new technologies. So the partnership in my advocacy would raise hope and confidence in our community where new innovative and creative solutions would march from the community in all ranges. This would be from not only the educated members but also from those who truly understand how good it is to get a solution to the climate change consequences. Thank you.

Who or what inspires/inspired you to care about climate change and climate solutions?

Gisele Uwinpuhwe : Thank you again. What inspired me is that in my country, they have taken measures like immobility, sustainable urbanization, renewable energy and the climate is smart to agriculture just as the solution to those climate change consequences. So to cope with them, these measures have been established mostly in cities and it still needs much effort to be established in most vulnerable communities in those rural areas. So in this way, I feel the urge to raise awareness in those communities. So as to adopt the technology area as much as possible. So as an adult who knows more, we read more.
