What have you learned about yourself so far by living and serving within a new community?
Venus Mae Gatdula: I've also learned that life is a series of unlearning things, of how things you know, work before, of learning new things and relearning things as things might work differently in a new placement or in a new area. And I'm very, very grateful for the community that I am serving with for their - just the daily reminder of Christ's love for me. And they have given me the space to explore, ask questions, make mistakes or fail without shame without judgment. My only other hope is that they are also able to feel love. The love of Christ in my life.
