How has support from the larger cohort of GMFs during the program impacted you?
Venus Mae Gatdula: I think when you are a Global Mission Fellow, loneliness would be one of the things that most if not all of us struggle with, especially when you're alone in your placement site. And for me, the bigger GMF cohort has really been a community that lifts me up in a way. I appreciate how we're more than just batch mates, but we are each other's brothers and sisters, that we can lean on each other. If we need someone to talk to, if we need someone to listen to us or if we need someone to pray for us and with us.
