Teigan Risley: Hi. My name's Teigan and I work at Leavitt Walmsley Associates Limited in the tax department and have done for six years now. My main role is to assist with the preparation and completion of tax returns. I also deal with P11D's and any other tax related work.

Before using Glasscubes, how did you request information from clients, and what problems or frustrations did that cause?

Teigan Risley: So we would start in April by issuing out the checklist to our tax return clients through a portal within our accounting software or through the post. This caused a lot of frustration because some clients couldn't remember the login details for the portal, and they didn't really know how to use the portal, couldn't find the checklist. So then we would have to send it to them a different way, either by email or through the post. So that was doubling up our work, and it was very time consuming. Obviously, if the information wasn't received, we'd have to send emails and phone calls to get the information in on time. So, yeah, that was really time consuming for us.

Did you have any concerns about moving to a new solution like Glasscubes, and were any of these subsequently realised?

Teigan Risley: So with like any new system there's always going to be concerns whether it's going to work well for us, whether it's going to work well for the clients, are they going to be able to adapt to this new system? Also, is it going to be effective in the way we handle the information as well? Obviously there was concerns from clients which we were expecting anyway, and it was highly about the security of this. Was it actually coming from us? Because they'd never heard of it before, but once they spoke to me and they knew it was coming from us, they knew how to use the software, they knew that it was really easy and it was just going straight from their emails. It worked really well. It was really effective during the busy periods. Staff also have adapted to it really well. So yeah, it's been really good.

Please describe working with us. How has Glasscubes helped you, your firm, and/or your clients?

Teigan Risley: Working with Glasscubes has been really successful for us. We found that the information being received back to us is coming in a lot quicker. It's a lot more efficient. I do think that's due to the personalisation of the requests that we are sending out through Glasscubes. We've also noticed the approval of tax returns is a lot quicker than usual. So it's given us a lot more time to actually work than be requesting the information back from clients. So yeah, it's really good for us.

Teigan Risley: Yeah definitely, 100% would recommend Glasscubes. For us, the time saving is a big win. We've saved so much time using Glasscubes. Also, all the information is coming in together. It's all stored within one place, so we know exactly where that information is going to be. It's not going to be on all different systems. It's all in one space, which has helped us out massively. So yeah, we would definitely recommend.
