Speakers: Freddie Holland‑Oliver, Tax Assistant, Warrener Stewart
Freddie Holland‑Oliver: Hiya my name is Freddie I am from Warrener Stewart. I'm a tax assistant and I'm going to answer a few questions for Glasscubes. First question is, before using Glasscubes how did you request information from clients and what problems or frustrations did that cause? Well, as a new starter, I have never used a previous software but given the question, I conferred with my colleagues and they used a software called [CCH] OneClick. They said it was a really slow software. It was very frustrating. It didn't have much continuity, and everything was like separate and disorganised. One of the main problems was you never got a notification if a client had put any information or data on there that you were waiting on or needed. So you just had to arbitrarily log on and just keep checking or guess when they put data on which was, you know, a real problem very time consuming. Whereas Glasscubes you get an email notification when a client has posted anything and it's really easy. Everything's in one spot. It's really nice to use. Secondly is, did you have any concerns about moving to a new solution like Glasscubes and were any of these subsequently realised? Uh, yeah. So clients, our main concern was client side. What they could see, what they couldn't see. And turns out that none of the problems that we had thought would arise did. They can see everything just fine. They can add everything. Things that we don't want them to see that could become confusing they can't see, so that that's really useful. One of the main concerns as well was clients being unhappy about having to move software, and feeling like their tax information is constantly being juggled about by new software buyers, and, that was the case with some clients. They have elected not to use Glasscubes and just stick to the emails. They just feel like they're being moved around a bit too much but it's not a majority. It's a fair few, and a lot of the clients that are using Glasscubes do really like it. Do really enjoy it. They are finding it very efficient. It is a very streamlined service for us. So yeah, thirdly is, please describe working with us. How has Glasscubes helped you, your firm, and all your clients? Well, really one person has been instrumental in helping us with Glasscubes, that's Kayleigh. Kayleigh has been fantastic. She's really helped the teething process in moving on to a new software, she's really shown us how to use the software. It's been good. She's also been really good at taking on board any new processes, any new development that we like to put forward. You know, we like to do more stuff in batch. Like if we're sending out through emails we can send out 200/300 emails, on the click of a mailing list and at the moment you can't do that with Glasscubes but we are getting there and she said that it could happen in the near future. Really enjoying how they're really taking on board information and pushing their Dev Team to come up with new ideas. And lastly is, how likely are you to recommend us and why should anyone watching this act now? I think, I'm very likely to recommend Glasscubes to other companies. It's a very streamlined service. It's very customer friendly. It's very, like ease of access, the ability to get an email click and work off Glasscubes without having the need to remember passwords, remember emails which is, it is really useful for some of our older clients because trying to get 75/80 year olds to remember emails, remember passwords, log on to their computers, and fill out information that way. It can be quite frustrating but I just feel like Glasscubes takes that away from them. Take it takes off any added stress. So yeah, thank you. Thanks so much.
