Speaker: Sarah Tuakli Cooper

Can you introduce yourself and give us a quick overview of your nonprofit?

Sarah Tuakli Cooper: Hi, I'm Sarah Tackley Cooper. I'm the executive director at the Elementary Institute of Science, which is a fabulous learning centre in southeastern San Diego where we teach students all of the STEM subjects.

What challenges were you facing with the Google Ad Grant before working with Getting Attention?

Sarah Tuakli Cooper: Before we started working with getting attention, we weren't making any use of the Google Ad grant, which is criminal waste of a really fantastic resource for nonprofits.

What has stood out to you the most about working with our global team?

Sarah Tuakli Cooper: It's really hard to pick one. favourite benefit of working with getting attention, um. It's very personalised, very professional, 100% reliable. And not only that, but they're teaching us, we're learning a lot as we go through this process. Um, and it's really transforming our advertising.

How would you describe the support you've received from our team?

Sarah Tuakli Cooper: We work with Daniel primarily, and I know that whenever we have a question. Someone gets back to us in a very short space of time, and always has the answer.

Can you share some results you're proud of since we started working together?

Sarah Tuakli Cooper: I was really pleasantly surprised at how quickly Daniel managed to get us from spending $0 to um almost maximising the use of the grant, which is not an easy task. And I have had this experience in other organisations where we just haven't managed to get the alchemy right. Um, but he's done a fantastic job of maximising our ROI.

If you were talking to another nonprofit thinking about working with us, what would you say?

Sarah Tuakli Cooper: For any small nonprofit, it's difficult to choose to outsource this kind of work. Because you feel like if you just knew a few more things, you would be able to do it yourself. I am a very experienced marketer, and I will tell you that this, the value of this service is way beyond, um. The amount that you're gonna spend trying to learn how to do it yourself, so. It just is a no-brainer for me.

What's a win -- big or small -- that made your team do a happy dance?

Sarah Tuakli Cooper: Obviously, we track where we're getting our referrals from, and it's really exciting for us to see that web. Channel turn into something really, really blossoming and growing, so that's been the most exciting thing for me.
