Shelia Posey: The best part about taking college classes online at GMC was being able to create a schedule that worked for me.
How has GMC Online prepared you to be an effective leader?
Shelia Posey: GMC helped me prepare for leadership role opportunities by helping get me out of my comfort zone and the discussions we take in classes, and the opportunities that we have to join clubs and be leaders within the club such as p t. K.
What makes GMC unique?
Shelia Posey: GMC is unique because it really felt more like a family. Everyone there wanted to see you succeed. Everyone was there to help you succeed, whether you were online or on campus. The the family and seeing people succeed was what truly made GMC unique.
What are your plans after graduation?
Shelia Posey: After graduation, I plan on continuing on with my bachelor's degree and then my master's degree, and hopefully coming back to be a professor for criminal justice courses at GMC, which was the school that gave me the opportunity to do something that I loved in the first place.
