What is one of the most valuable things that you took from your education at Georgia Military College?
SHERRAL COLBERT: One of the most valuable things as a student that I got from my education at Georgia Military College is a strong foundation in leadership and character development. GMC emphasizes not only academic success but also personal growth, ethical decision making and the ability to lead with integrity. The most significant takeaway that I would um say that I got was my leadership style and how to adapt it to various situations, learning to balance thoughtfulness and adaptability and servant leadership. All has equipped me with the skills that is invaluable, both professionally and personally. This holistic approach to education ensures that I graduate with the tools to succeed as well as being a well-rounded individual who contribute positivity to my communities.
Why did you choose GMC Global Online College?
SHERRAL COLBERT: Choosing Georgia Military College was not a why for me. Um I must say that it was actually chose, it actually was a school that chose me um the flexibility, the online format, you know, that I was able to um have that was able to allow me to balance my education along with my Children and my home and my job, the reputation for Georgia Military College alone is what sold me the affordability. I mean, I was able to afford to pay out of pocket um when my financial aid wasn't available and, you know, it did not put me in such a stressful situation, the wide range of um opportunities in the community support. I was, you know, contributing factors as to why, you know, I am a student and graduating from Georgia Military College.
What are your plans after graduation?
SHERRAL COLBERT: Well, um after graduation, well, because of Georgia Military College, I have already been accepted into the program of my choice to continue my nurse nursing education. I only applied to one school. I got accepted to that one school and I'm so excited, you know, I just, I Georgia Military paved the way for me to get into the program of my choice. I am so passionate about taking care of, you know, individuals. Um just the ability to be able to get into the program is I, I just cannot explain how happy I am.
