What is one of the most valuable things that you took from your education at Georgia Military College?
Karina Martinez Resendiz: So one of the most valuable things that I was able to learn from Georgia Military College was the ability to be a critical thinker. So stepping out of my comfort zone and being able to analyze, being able to observe, being able to grasp the solution and also so being able to effectively communicate my results with my peers on an online discussion forum and also being able to take that same skill and using it in my daily life. It has been an awesome skill that I've been able to obtain from GMC.
What are your plans after graduation?
Karina Martinez Resendiz: So my plans after graduation include, I have already actually started applying for nursing school in July. I'll have an answer of what um nursing school I will be attending. Also, I currently work as a medical assistant, having the background from Georgia Military College and all the um anatomy and biology classes that I've had. I was able to obtain a medical assistance c um certificate to work at a local clinic. So now that I have my medical assistant certificate and I have my Georgian Military College um degree, I can further pursue my career in the nursing field. So that is currently what I am doing right now. I am applying and waiting to see if I get into the nursing program and fingers crossed and I will be a future nurse and the, well, of course, I'll be a future nurse. So that's what um my plans are currently.
