Speaker: Nikisha Kotwal, Class of 2024
What's it like to be a grad student at Georgetown?
Nikisha Kotwal: Being an international graduate student at Georgetown, especially with the Learning, Design, and Technology program has been challenging yet an exceptionally rewarding experience so far.
How have you collaborated with faculty?
Nikisha Kotwal: The faculty in the program have been true facilitators of learning. They've provided valuable feedback on my projects as well as made me feel like I belong to this cohort right from the get go. I think one of the best qualities is that the LDT faculty hone is that of actually making adjustments to the syllabi based on the collective feedback that we give them as a cohort to ensure that our learning is optimal.
How will your program help you achieve your professional goals?
Nikisha Kotwal: My ultimate goal is to be able to help people design learning in classrooms that revolve around inclusion, equity, access, justice and mainly well-being. The courses through the program, give me opportunities to personalize my projects and my learning outcomes to be able to feed this ultimate goal.
