What key challenges did you need help with before you started using Genio?
Vienna: Genio has really helped me with my auditory processing because when I record my, when I record my lectures, I like the feature where you can use the transcript option so then you're able to read as well as listen to the lectures again as many times as you like. I also struggle with note taking. Before, because quite often when it was handwritten, I would fall behind, but being able to have slides and my own notes all in one place, I found it much more easier to take notes quickly and revisit them afterwards if I needed to add anything further outside of the lecture time frame.
How has Genio helped you with those challenges and impacted your learning experience?
Vienna: So now I feel much more confident going into lectures, because as an autistic individual, everything can sometimes just pull you down. And what you need is to be able to go into a room and think, I am going to be able to actually learn and actually walk away feeling positive from lectures and I feel like Genio has allowed me to reduce my stress levels and actually learn instead of just listening and then it all goes in one ear, out the other. It's able to help me actually process what's going on and organize my notes effectively for then further revision later on.
